Offworld trading company campaign guide1/11/2024 ![]() I am unsure why the AI had no interest in buying your stocksI think it was because I wasn't in as much debt as someone else. ![]() At least I think that was my reasoning at the time it's been such a mess figuring out what angle to approach the map that I wouldn't be surprised if I just placed it because of some crazy reason. This way, they don't make loads off of silicon when I upgrade my HQ or purchase silicon for buildings and I have time to make back the money if it's at a high level. ![]() With no teleportation, it would give a steady fuel(and/or water) trend, but I wanted to deny as much silicon as possible. In hindsight, I could've also considered founding the second one on top of the water patch on the other side of the map after everyone founds their HQ. The idea was to deny as much silicon as possible, specifically in that area since I got destroyed one time where one AI had slant drilling and built quarries(med carbon, high silicon) there which made him $527 per tick. I am unsure why the AI had no interest in buying your stocks, I think most of them were barely getting by for some reason and therefore couldn't afford stocks.Īnyway, was interesting to see and congratz! not many players have managed it! Reminds me of the new players tournament where i had basically messed up the start and it took me ages to hit hq2 but still kept at it (although i lost, not surprisingly!) The other part i found interesting was that your were 3 if not 4 hq's behind at one stage, this to me would be too much, but you pressed on. Just found it funny how you founded on top of silicon, then on top of more silicon. The carbon nearby was handy as well as the water, so it worked out. As you founded on silicon, then your other found on more silicon which was ?, the entire point of nomad is to found in two separate locations with access to different resources. I also found it interesting how you spammed bribe a claim at HQ1 rather than upgrading, even for the 12k. I think i misvalued slant drilling, as that auction i believe happens every time on that map. If you use those settings (with jupiters forge enabled, should work even without it) you get a map with bribe a claim and no nukes, with several potential starting locations. I've found expansive to be the most likely successful win. Found last, with 4 AI this gives a claim at HQ2 and only 18 secs for black market to get another claim. Do not produce steel for yourself, producing water/food/fuel is usually more profitable which allows you to buy the glass much more easily (seeing you start with 20 and need 30, also you will want to get 2 bribes before you even go t2 usually, maybe even 3 claims)ģ. (just keep restarting till you get one)Ģ. Use a map without underground nukes and does have bribe a claim. If anyone wants to try, here's my suggestions:ġ. ![]() I managed to get down to the final two, but the other guy had managed to buyout everyone except the guy that i'd bought out, he costed 1 million to buyout in the end and i had 750k of it. Anyone had any success at Guru with 3+ AI's?
